AHG Statement: Over the past few years, many of us have been profoundly impacted by a massive range of both personal and global traumas. These individual and collective events have shaped our reality and play a major role in our health and well-being. Herbs can offer tremendous support for coping with the presence and aftermath of traumatic experiences. Adjunct to other healing modalities, herbs are powerful movers and shapers of trauma. Herbs can be part of creating safe spaces and places for the individual and shared restorative processing of trauma. Where trauma fragments and divides, herbs catalyze wholeness and integration.

One mission of the American Herbalists Guild is to empower and educate the herbal community with information that best serves the current needs of the people. Offering this webinar intensive at no charge is one way we are putting our goals into action.

Webinar Description:
Herbs can be a great support to trauma therapies, and even accelerate their positive effects. This class will discuss the proper approach to identifying and addressing how this shows up in the clinical setting.

Using herbal support with trauma is many layered, as the more obvious symptoms must be addressed, but it is necessary to look at and work with clients on a deeper level to help get them to a stronger threshold.

Class 1: Assessing and discussing trauma during consultation, recognizing trauma in other illnesses
Class 2: Working with the effects on the nervous and digestive system
Class 3: Support through the endocrine system
Class 4: Restoration and case studies
