Pre-Intensive Symposium: Your First Year of Clinical Practice

Class Description: In this discussion session, we’ll focus on setting realistic expectations for your first year of clinical practice, as well as strategies for supporting yourself, your clients, and your practice during this phase. The vulnerability, excitement, and anticipation many practitioners experience during this time will be acknowledged and honored. We will explore logistical questions, emotional and spiritual challenges that often arise, and tips/tools for navigating the transition to clinical work.

Time:  Morning (8:30am-11:30am)

Bio: Camille Freeman, RH, LDN, is an herbalist & nutritionist specializing in menstrual health and fertility. She offers continuing education and the Monday Mentoring community of practice for highly trained herbalists and nutritionists. She’s also a professor in the Nutrition & Herbal Medicine department at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. In addition to wrangling two children, Camille enjoys reading, gardening and tracking down deals at thrift stores and garage sales.
