Clinical Herbal & Integrative Cancer Care
In this 4-part (8 hr) webinar, participants will learn to support cancer patients undergoing or avoiding conventional cancer therapies, as well as basic preventative strategies using herbs. Participants will learn from the initial intake process about clinical history, lab relevance, and doing the herbalist PI work. Helping clients with resources for treatment, including botanicals, herbal extracts, nutrition basics, lifestyle, stress, exercise and anabolic/metabolic support encompass the core of the class. Discussion will focus on maintaining a healthy immune system, inflammation management, blood, GI, liver, kidneys and cardiovascular system support through the cancer experience as well.
Session 1: Intake and Starting with a new client—responsibilities, challenges, and systemic support using the sequential NANAHIM* approach.
